Orifice Tubes
Four Seasons' expansion devices are specifically calibrated to provide proper flow to the evaporator as well as restricting or modulating high pressure liquid causing a pressure drop to lower the refrigerant temperature. They also provide optimum cabin comfort for both the driver and passengers.

Why Replace?
Expansion Valves regulate refrigerant flow within the system. Other than the Compressor, this is the only other moving part in the system.
Expansion Valves can become contaminated with system debris
Expansion Valves cannot be flushed and should be replaced whenever the Compressor is replaced
