Discovery Brake Controller; w/ Time Based Activation; Includes Mounting Hardware
A Brake Controller is an electrical device that serves as an interface between a tow vehicle and the electric trailer brakes. It is typically mounted near the tow vehicle's steering wheel with an electrical line running to the trailer wiring connector. It usually requires the user to adjust brake gain to compensate for varying trailer loads and is necessary for the operation of electric trailer brakes.
A Time Released Brake Control is also called a 'time activated brake control', 'time actuated brake control' or 'time delayed brake control'. It is a brake control that increases the amount of pressure to the trailer brakes over time, based on the preset gain setting. It typically requires little or no calibration and is less precise than an inertia based brake control
